Nexley vs Tradify: which one does your firm need?
Tradify is job management software: scheduling, job cards, quotes and invoices, at £34, £37 or £44 per user a month as of October 2026. Nexley is an AI back office that works over WhatsApp, drafting quotes, filing supplier bills and chasing payments in the tools you already use, for £799 a month flat. Tradify suits teams who need a shared diary; Nexley suits owners losing evenings to admin. Some firms use both.
What is the difference between Nexley and Tradify?
Tradify is a system your team logs into to run jobs. Nexley is an assistant you message to get office work done. That difference matters more than any feature list.
With Tradify, an engineer opens the app, sees today's jobs, adds photos and timesheets, and the office raises the invoice. Tradify's Pro plan adds branding, enquiry inbox, progress invoicing, timesheets, costing and compliance certificates; Plus adds purchase orders and AI bill reading.
With Nexley, you send a voice note from the van ("Mill Lane, add two radiators, three hours") and Nexley drafts the priced quote for you to approve. It posts supplier bills against the job, tracks cost per job and chases overdue invoices. You approve before anything goes out.

Which costs less for your firm?
Tradify, almost always, on subscription alone. Nexley only makes sense if it takes enough admin off you or replaces a cost you already pay.

All five need the Tradify app. Prices October 2026, before VAT.
| Tradify Pro5 users × £37 | £185 |

| Both together£185 + £799 | £984 |
| Difference, Nexley over Tradify Pro£799 − £185 | £614 |
| Owner's admin hours that difference buys back at £45 an hour£614 ÷ £45 | 13.6 hours |
The difference. These apps hold the jobs; you still do the office work. Nexley does that work for you: quotes, invoices, chasing, supplier bills and tenders, drafted overnight from your own prices and your Xero, waiting for your yes in WhatsApp. It works alongside the app you already have.
A four-to-five-person renovation builder told us admin went from about two days a week to about 30 minutes a day. That's one firm, not an average.

Which one should you choose?
Answer on what's slowing you down, not on what looks most complete.
Tradify runs the diary and job cards; Nexley takes the office work off the owner. Trial them together and keep whichever saves more.
You have a scheduling problem and the admin is under control. Tradify's per-user price will be the better spend.
Your bottleneck is office work, not scheduling. Trial Nexley with a week of real quotes and bills.
At your admin load, Tradify Lite or your accounts package alone will cover it. Revisit when you hire.
Who does Tradify suit, and who doesn't it suit?
Tradify suits sole traders and small crews doing reactive domestic work who want quotes, jobs and invoices in one place at a published price. It's quick to set up, offers free training and phone support, and connects to Xero, QuickBooks and Sage. It suits firms less if they run planned maintenance contracts or need tender pricing and take-offs. Check what syncs with your accounts in our integrations guide.
Who does Nexley suit, and who doesn't it suit?
Nexley suits owner-run firms of roughly 1 to 15 people where the owner is the office: quoting at night, keying supplier bills, chasing payments and pricing tenders. It doesn't suit a firm whose problem is dispatching engineers to jobs, or a sole trader for whom £799 a month is more than the admin is worth. It also doesn't issue gas or electrical certificates.
Where Nexley fits
Nexley is the AI back office for UK trade firms: five AI assistants run your tenders, quotes, buying, scheduling and invoicing. It connects to the tools you already work in, you run it all from WhatsApp, and you approve everything. £799 a month.
Nexley works over WhatsApp, alongside Tradify or instead of it. It drafts quotes from voice notes and your price list, posts supplier bills against the right job, keeps cost per job and chases overdue invoices. You check and approve each one. £799 a month, no contract, 7-day free trial.
Common questions
How is Nexley different from a job management app?
A job app is a better filing system: it holds your jobs, and you still do the quoting, invoicing and chasing. Nexley does that work. Five AI assistants draft your quotes, invoices, supplier orders, replies and tenders overnight from your own prices and your Xero, and you approve each one in WhatsApp. It's the office help you'd otherwise hire, for £799 a month against about £2,358 a month for a full-time admin.
Can you use Nexley and Tradify together?
Yes. Tradify keeps the diary and job cards for your engineers, and Nexley handles quotes, supplier bills and chasing over WhatsApp. Make sure only one of them posts sales invoices to Xero, so you don't get duplicates.
How much is Tradify a month in the UK?
As of October 2026, Lite is £34, Pro £37 and Plus £44 per user a month, with Custom priced on request. Optional extras include an Instant Website at £10 a month and text messages at 10p each.
Is Nexley a replacement for job management software?
For some firms. If you don't need engineers logging into a shared diary, Nexley can cover the office side on its own. If you do, keep your job app and add Nexley for admin.
Do either have a contract?
No. Tradify says there are no contracts or commitments, and Nexley is a rolling monthly plan. See software contracts for trades for what to check with any supplier.
